The Fifth International Seminar of Bioderecho was organized, jointly, by the International Network of Bioderecho, and the Chair of Law and Human Genome University of the Basque Country UPV / EHU

It was carried out in facilities of the the University of the Basque Country, in Bilbao, Spain, on May 6, 7 and 8, 2019.

The Fourth International Seminar of Bioderecho was organized, jointly, by the International Network of Bioderecho and the Health Observatory, of the University of Buenos Aires, which was held at UBA facilities, in the city of Buenos Aires Argentina on the days September 3, 4 and 5, 2018.

The Third International Biolaw Seminar was organized, jointly, by the International Biolaw Network, the Legal Research Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Institute of Public Health of Mexico, and the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico.

It was carried out in UNAM facilities in Mexico City, on August 29, 30 and 31, 2017

He has written 13 books, published in English and Spanish in USA, U.K., Germany and Latin America, as well as over 65 papers, published in international journals. He has received important distinctions, such as the International Academic Career Award given by the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, for his contribution to biolaw and health law in Ibero America.

The Second International Seminar of Biolaw will be organized by the International Network of Biolaw along with the Institute of Bioethics, Universidad Javeriana, and will be held in August 22, 23, 24, 2016 at this academic institution, in Bogota, Colombia.

The main topic will be “Biolaw, Bioethics and Society: Juridical Analysis of Biomedicine’s Scopes.” The event will count on the presence and participation of outstanding world renowned scholars.

The First International Colloquium of Indigenous Bioethics was held In March 10, 2015, in Santiago, Chile. The organization of the event was a joint effort of Universidad del Desarrollo and professor Darryl Macer, President of American University of Sovereign Nations, and counted on the participation of relevant international scholars.

The participants addressed important topics related to social justice, diversity, differentiated rights, intercultural issues, international health, public policies and indigenous institutionality, bioethical implications of ethnic diversity, and biomedical research on indigenous populations, among others.
